The Other World ;
Chapter 6 ; Where On Earth?!
For the next moment, I turned around to glance at my surroundings.
I saw the bizzare change with my own eyes:
from the orangey bus shelter, to a bright yellow hut.
from the seats at the bus shelter, to the boats replaced.
from the lights beside the shelter, to the fireflies buzzing around.
"Where on earth are we?!" Pauline asked me, grabbing my hands anxiously.
"I don't know either!" But dont worry Pauline, i'm sure that there's a way out to this unnatural scene!" I assured Pauline, even though i know that there's no way we could be saved, as the place was desserted.
We kept walking, searching frantically for any exits to this weird place, but to no avail.
Despite that, we continued walking and walking, until we saw lights further down the road.
Feeling happy, we ran and finally reached our destination.
"What on Mother Nature are these creatures!?" Pauline said flabbergasted.
Before our very eyes, weren't inhabitants of the earth but more on heaven.
I don't know what they exactly were, but it seemed to me that they were legendary animals, as i've heard of their features during animalthology lessons.
There's this creature that looked like a Centaurian, whereby it's legs were of a horse's and it's body were of a human's.
The other creature looks more like a Pegasus', with a horse's body and extended wings on it's back.
In this community, there's this Phoenix as well. God damn! It's the best and most beautiful and wonderful bird species i've ever seen in my entire life. It has the features of a bird, just that the most extraordinary feature of it was that it was in flames.
We approached them, asking politely for fear of these creatures being provoked.
"Erm, excuse me Sir. Can you please tell us where is this place exactly? As we are lost." I asked the Centaurian.
At first, we thought that we were insane to be asking these animals questions, as there's no way that they could answer our questions.
But to our amazement, the Centaur answered us immediately!
"Hey girls. I'm sorry to say, but you are now in the Other World."
"What!? The Other World?! What do you mean by this? How do we actually get to this place?!" Pauline asked uneasily.
"There's nothing wrong with this place. You see, even your friend, Ted is here."
"Ted?! Where is he?! How is it that I don't see him here?! Wher-"
"Pauline! Pauline! Grab hold of yourself! You don't wanna provoke the Centuar ya? Please remain calm." I stopped Pauline in her words.
"Turn 3times around and you'll see Ted right before your very eyes." The Centaur told us.
We did as we were told and true enough, after our third round, Ted appeared infront of us!
"Ted!" We both shouted. "Where did you disappear to all these while!? What are you doing here?!"
"Hush! Don't get too excited about this.. I shall tell you my story as to how i arrived here.." Ted told us secretly.
